Wow I can’t believe it is December 31st! This year has flown by. What a wonderful year it has been filled with so many blessings.
2015 was a very busy year for us. It has been a wonderful blessing to be home with family and friends for the holidays this year and take time for some much needed rest.
In November we had a wonderful team from Canyon Lake come to work with us. Great group of people! Here are a few pictures from their time with us.
I don’t have any pictures on my computer of them working in the medical clinic but Judy and Joyce worked in the pharmacy during the clinic. Our clinic staff headed by Rachel Zimmerman came to the mountain for a two day clinic. Over 350 people were seen in those two days! It was a blessing to so many people.
Tommy Wilson called this team before they left and said he had some sewing supplies from the ladies in the association. So they brought the suitcase of goodies in. These were collected to help Vena, a lady in the Belo community that wants to teach classes in sewing, cooking and other crafts to the ladies in and around the community. She and I want to thank all the ladies that collected these items, they will be such a help to her in the coming year. She is a talented lady. Here are a few pictures. She also has a precious new baby girl.
Christmas this year was lots of fun, there is a 16 month old in the house, need I say more?
As this year comes to a close we feel so blessed to have each of you as our friends. We thank God for how you lift us up in prayer and how you support us in so many ways. We pray that each of you has a new year filled with love, hope, peace and joy!
In our busy world I was reminded this morning in the Wisdom Hunter’s devotional to be challenged to take the time in the new year to ambitiously pursue the peace and contentment that comes from leading a quiet and simple life with God and others.
