We are headed back to Haiti today after an unplanned trip to Texas to see Ernie’s mom. She has been diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and was in the hospital for the last 2 weeks. She celebrated her 80th birthday in the hospital on the 23rd. She loved all the cards she received and the visits from friends and family. She came home this weekend but has been sleeping most of the time. We are waiting to see if she will be getting chemo or not. Please keep her and the family in your prayers.
Since the end of May we have had 6 teams and have another one arriving on Thursday. So we have been busy!! My computer screen broke a few weeks ago but praise the Lord our new friends from Ash Creek Baptist in Azle, Texas were kind and were able to fix it for me. What a blessing that was! So neat to see how God provides.
I am sitting in DFW airport right now typing this on my kindle. We have not had internet service so trying to at least let people know we are still alive and well. I apologize for not updating my blog but between teams, no internet and broken computer it has its challenges. I will try to get pictures and fill y’all in on what all has happened this summer once we get back to Haiti. So many exciting things to report on.
Please continue to pray for us and the people we serve.
Have a great day!
