February in Haiti

Standard

We arrived back in Haiti on February 12 and it has been a great month!  Hard to believe it is already March 1st.  The people on the mountain have been enjoying eating peanut butter and bread in the afternoons thanks to those who have donated to this project.

Our two interns Morgan and Chandler have been busy teaching ESL classes 3 to 4 days a week.  It started with 3 people and as you can see below it continues to grow each time they meet.

Morgan, with Looben’s help, reading a bible story to a few of the kids that wandered up when it started to rain.  We also had Tata’s grandmother come up and listen.

Morgan and Chandler tried their hand at making homemade biscuits – they turned out great!

Here is a new picture of sweet baby Schmaylene (not sure of spelling).  She is really growing!

Here is the building next to our guest house that is being turned into a medical clinic.  We hope to have it operational some time in April if all goes as planned.

It is such a blessing to see all that God has planned as we take each step in faith.  He always has amazing things in place if we just take the steps and trust Him.
